How catastrophe and artistic work are connected

Statement by Gaby Kutz

Gaby Kutz is an artist. Asking her after the flood disaster of 2021 what catastrophes have to do with her artistic work is less cynical than it might sound. After all, the painter has been working on social crises and humanitarian catastrophes for many years.

A mini-statement can already be seen here. More in January and February at Redraw Tragedy, because her works enter into dialogue with the exhibition and program.
